Our Commitment

Idaho Build Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience of our website and aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

We believe that all visitors — regardless of ability — should be able to access information about our custom home building and remodeling services in Weiser, ID and across Southwest Idaho.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features on our website:

• Semantic HTML5 structure — proper use of headings (H1–H4 hierarchy), ARIA landmarks, lists, and structural elements for screen reader compatibility
• Skip-to-content link — allows keyboard users to bypass navigation and jump directly to the main content area
• ARIA labels and landmarks — descriptive labels on all interactive elements; nav, main, header, and footer landmarks throughout
• Full keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (buttons, links, form inputs) are operable via keyboard in a logical tab order
• Visible focus indicators — clear visual focus outlines on all interactive elements when navigating with a keyboard or Tab key
• WCAG AA color contrast — minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text against all background colors
• Descriptive alt text — all informational images include descriptive alternative text; decorative images use alt=""
• Responsive design — content is fully usable at viewport widths from 320px to 4K; zooming to 200% maintains layout integrity
• prefers-reduced-motion media query — all animations and transitions are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion
• Form accessibility — all form fields have programmatically associated labels; required fields are marked with both visual and semantic indicators
• Link text — all links have descriptive text that makes sense out of context; no "click here" or bare URL links
• Language attribute — the page language is declared (lang="en") for screen reader pronunciation

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may not be fully accessible:

• Third-party content: Third-party resources including the Lucide icon library and Google Fonts CDN may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We have implemented fallbacks and monitor these dependencies.
• Images without known descriptions: Some project photography does not have client-provided descriptions beyond general captions. We update alt text as descriptions become available.

Standards and Conformance

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We recognize your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and applicable state accessibility laws. If you believe that your rights have been violated, you may:
